How does ultrasound work?
Ultrasound works using the cavitation principle: microscopically small vapor bubbles that adhere to the dirt on cutter attachments, metal spatulas or cuticle nippers are dissolved using ultrasonic waves - even the most stubborn dirt such as filing dust or cuticles simply fall off the instrument. The special oscillation frequency and the right cleaning concentrate can remove most viruses and bacteria from nail instruments. Which ultrasonic device do I need?
The right size of ultrasonic bath depends on which parts you want to clean. Depending on the length and width of the instrument, we offer models in different sizes and filling quantities. For use in a nail salon, a cleaner with a tank capacity of 0.5 l or more may be sufficient. Depending on the degree of soiling, we have devices with a simple design and a clear range of functions. What do I need to consider when cleaning?
When cleaning with ultrasound, it is important that you do not place the instruments directly on the tank floor, but always work with the appropriate basket. For example, if a tip cutter is placed directly in the tank, the small movements can scour holes in the thin material. This can also damage the appliances being cleaned. Conventional tap water and an appropriate cleaning additive are suitable for filling the bath. Before cleaning, let the bath run for a few minutes so that all air bubbles can escape from the water. The instruments must becompletely covered with water before switching on so that there is no air left in the gaps. When the device is finished and the instruments are clean, they are simply rinsed briefly with water and dried.
Which cleaning concentrate
For the nail salon, we recommend the EM-200 disinfectant concentrate to maintain the necessary hygiene
. It is effective against bacteria including TBC/MRSA and inactivates viruses including HBV, HIV, HCV, Adeno and Papova. It is VAH-listed and suitable for short-term disinfection from 5 minutes.
It does not attack the material and is biodegradable. Disinfection takes place at the same time as cleaning, which saves time for a second application.
Thanks to its ideal cleaning effect, it even ensures that protein from blood residues does not stick to the instrument. Depending on the size of the basin, the concentrate is simply added to the tap water.
